About Azzo Wash Co.

Commercial only, right across the GTA

Azzo Wash Co. is a commercial cleaning contractor based in Toronto, working across Toronto, Peel, York, Durham and Halton. We do three things: NFPA 96 kitchen exhaust cleaning, commercial pressure washing, and graffiti removal. We do not do houses, not driveways, not decks, not residential roofs. Everything we own and everything we know is built for commercial kitchens, commercial buildings, and the people responsible for keeping them compliant and open.

Azzo Wash Co. has been running since 2024. Before that Max was in tech, and before that on the industrial side at Cushman & Wakefield, one of the largest commercial real estate firms in the world. He owns a development property himself.

That background is why this business works the way it does. Most hood cleaning companies are started by technicians. This one was started by someone who used to be on the other side of the invoice, the person chasing a contractor for the certificate the insurer wanted, trying to establish whether the work on the roof had actually happened, explaining to an owner why a vendor had missed a window. The documentation is not a marketing angle. It is the thing that was missing every time.

We work while you are closed

Most of our work happens overnight, roughly between 11pm and 4am. Restaurants get cleaned after last cover and are ready before prep. Retail and office exteriors get done before staff arrive. Loading docks and warehouse floors get scheduled around shift changes. This is not a convenience we offer. It is how the work has to be done. A hood cleaning done properly takes the cookline out of service for hours: filters come out, access panels come off, and the duct interior gets opened up. There is no version of that which coexists with lunch service.

What you are actually buying

  • Documentation, not just a clean hood. Every hood cleaning comes with a before-and-after photo set covering each component (hood, plenum, duct run, fan, rooftop) and a written compliance certificate recording the date, the technician, the scope, and anything we could not reach. NFPA 96 requires a report specifying inaccessible areas; most operators have never been given one.

  • The whole system, not the part you can see. Anyone can make a hood look clean from underneath. We open the plenum, run the duct, and disassemble the fan. If a section has no access panel, that goes in the report with a recommendation rather than quietly getting skipped.

  • Insured properly, and we prove it up front. $5 million commercial general liability and full WSIB coverage. The certificate goes to you before we show up, not after you ask. Property managers and franchise head offices need it on file, so we treat it as onboarding rather than paperwork you have to chase.

  • Owner-operated. When you call 647-749-0045 you get Max, not a call centre or a sales rep working from a script. The person who quotes your building is the person accountable for the work on it.

  • One vendor across every site. Hood cleaning, pressure washing and graffiti removal, scheduled as one route across however many municipalities you manage: one point of contact, one schedule, one set of documentation, instead of chasing three contractors in five cities.

We do not quote over the phone, because a price given without seeing the system is a guess. The free on-site evaluation takes about fifteen minutes and gets you an exact scope, a firm price, and a recommended service interval based on how your kitchen actually cooks. If you are on a shorter interval than you need, we will tell you.
